Day 29: Favorite Overall Moment
Kingdom dance from Tangled
I just love this entire celebration montage. The colors, the exuberance, and the storytelling - all conveyed without a word. The mood builds and builds with the music. It brings the audience in to how Rapunzel is experiencing the world outside of the tower, and we also see the attraction building between Rapunzel and Eugene. Simply a beautifully done scene.

Day 28: Favorite Sequel
Do I have to pick one? They are all horrible.
The princess movies that had sequels are:
- Cinderella
- The Little Mermaid
- Aladdin
- Pocahontas
- Mulan
Maybe The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea… only because it wasn’t as horrifying as the rest.
Can we just count Tangled Ever After as an official sequel and count that as my favorite?

The girl has 12 dresses throughout the movie! That’s more than any of the other princesses: most of them have one or two outfits. Plus I just love 1920’s style!

I love that he accepts Mulan as who she is and recognizes her worth even when it is not recognizable to the world around her.

Day 22: Bravest Princess
The legend of Hua Mulan was a story that I grew up knowing. In books that I read when I was young, she was always praised for her filial piety. Mulan’s legend is a beautiful story of a daughter’s love for her father. In the original legend, she stayed in the army for over 10 years and became a military hero. I love how Disney kept the essence of the original story but gave Mulan a rebellious personality.
